BD150 Single Dry Mechanical Seal for SS Reactor

BD150 Single Dry Mechanical Seal is Basically Outside-Mounted Balanced Single Seal with O-ring as Secondary Sealing Member which gives better Performance for Sealing. BD150 has been designed with Semi Cartridge Unit and Self-lubricating seal faces for Top, Bottom Entry Agitator, Mixer, and vessels. Neither external cooling, nor lubrication equipment or a supply system is required. that is why they are known as dry running seal. The design and material selection meets the needs of the pharmaceutical and chemical processing industries. The seals are excellent for low duty mixing applications and operation in vacuum conditions. Type BD150 Contacting Dry Running Seal can easily converted from dry running to Liquid lubricated wet seal. Type Name then Changes from BD150 TO BW150. These Seals are used without Bearing Seal Type BD150 and With Bearing Seal Type BD150B. These seals are designed with Cooling Water Jacket to maintain cool environment around the Seal.
